Ms Molly arrived december 8, 2008 at 9:41 pm weighing 7lbs 12 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. As most of you know, I had wanted to experience a "natural birth" and was seeing a midwife throughout my pregnancy. Praise God, I was able to deliver Molly without being induced and without epidural or pain medication...felt it ALL! :) It was all very fast and intense but no complications but a beautiful healthy little girl erased all that. I had 5 wonderful people in the delivery room with me making it all possible, my doctor, my midwife, my dear friend Molly, an amazing labor nurse Elizabeth and my wonderful husband. We had wanted the kids to be present for the birth, however, decided it was probably a little too scary for them, the way mom was handling things, so they came in just after Molly was delivered Joshua was even able to cut the umbilical cord after 4 tries! It was a very special experience and I am so thankful Molly K was able to capture some amazing moments on camera.
